Cybersecurity

Medical devices are becoming increasingly connected to hospital networks, the internet, and other devices, allowing for improved patient care and greater efficiency in healthcare operations. However, this connectivity also introduces potential cybersecurity risks, as medical devices can be vulnerable to cyber-attacks that may compromise patient safety and privacy.

With cybersecurity in mind, Schiller designs and tests its medical devices and provides ongoing updates and support to meet evolving threats. Our mission is Data security through the continuum of care.

We implement, among others, role-based access control, LDAP integration, audit logging, patient identification, and secure encrypted data transmission.

Our EKG, Holter, and spirometer devices comply with regulatory cybersecurity requirements, and we are committed to evolving and becoming more connected using the latest cybersecurity measures to ensure patient data safety.
